Peace Mob is the expressive outlet of songwriter/producer Sgt. Pigeon, who also authors the Peace Mob Blog and is a dove, philosophically and technically.

Even if there were someone real behind the persona, they’d probably be a really ordinary person with a really, really dull story. Yawn! Why waste time on that nonsense when we could marvel at the exploits of a true hero? 

A veteran of many bird wars, Sgt. Pigeon is today a confirmed pacifist. When not occupying various administration buildings, he blogs with a anti-partisan perspective on the subjects of the day. His writing is critical of power, empathetic to its victims,  avoids politics in the typical sense--but relentlessly attacks the subject in a general sense.

Musically, Pigeon’s style is an Upper-Midwestern USA hot dish (casserole, to those unfortunate enough to hail from some other place) of vintage and modern sounds propelled by catchy melodies and beats you can dance to. Lyrically, his songs reflect his fascination with people and how they reckon the world around them.
